THE HYPOCRATIC OAF

Back in the day Agent Smith loved a rave and a little pill thrown into the mixer. These days, being old, dull and looking like a living embodiment of a faded sepia photograph taken on cheap Agfa paper, I get my kicks in other ways.

The rules are simple,

1. It must right a wrong.
2. It must expose the rampant hypocrisy prevalent in the NT health department.
3. The evidence must be there to back it up.
4. There should be a possibility of leaking the story to ensure the widest possible ridicule.

Some of you will remember a story that the hairy assed NT News ran several months ago. It was about massive conflict of interest at the NT Medical Board.

If not it is well worth giving it a read.

It was a murky muddy affair where the partner of remote health medical director Hugh Heggie was investigating Heggie's colleagues without disclosing to them a conflict of interest.

She was investigating them in her capacity as a senior investigator of AHPRA.

But, wait, there is more.

She also sat on the NT medical board as a 'community member'.

Which means she was every where all at once and perfectly located to ensure whatever Heggie wanted could happen.

And of course none of the clinicians she investigated on Heggie's team were ever told that she was his partner. And that made her responses to the NT New story laughable and beyond belief.

Those purveyors of truth the mister men also covered the story in their usual manner too.

Eventually Walsh was booted off the Medical Board leaving Heggie to look like the complete arse he his.

There she was in October 2015.

And there she was GONE in 2016.

So I thought I'd share for two reasons.

Firstly, corruption can be rooted out.

Secondly, it complied with my rules.

And very enjoyable it was too watching all the usual wankers in Casuarina Plaza trying to work out who had done this to 'poor Hugh'.

Because it was ME.

Agent Smith.

  2. This site is the best laugh i've had in weeks. And to think I was thinking of change from Central to Top End as I haven't been there in years, apart from Wadeye though! Keep up the good work!
